MOON RISE / SUNSET SKI-B-Q SOCIALS
The Pagosa Nordic Club Invites you to join us for our fun Moon Rise / Sunset Ski-B-Q Socials. We gather at a predetermined groomed trail to enjoy an easy ski under the colorful skies, free BBQ and socialize next to a warm camp fire with some hot cocoa. A great activity for families, all ages and abilities. Come learn about the Pagosa Nordic Club and the Pagosa area Groomed Nordic Trails. The following is a schedule of our monthly Ski-B-Q's. December 31, 2009, Thursday. Full Moon New Years Eve Ski at Coyote Hill
Celebrate the New Year on your skis or snowshoes, under a full moon.
We will start gathering at 4:30pm.
January 29, 2010, Friday.
We will start gathering at 5:00pm.
February 26, 2010, Friday. West Fork Trail Head.  Soup & Chili served!
We will start gathering at 5:30pm.
March 26, 2010, Friday. (snow pending due to late season)
We will start gathering at 6:00pm.

LEARN TO NORDIC SKI & SNOWSHOE DEMO DAYS
The Pagosa Nordic Club will host a FREE LEARN TO CROSS COUNTRY SKI AND SNOWSHOE CLINIC on Saturday January 9, 2010 at the Alpine Haus Ski Center located at the Golf Course clubhouse. The event will start at 9am and participants will be able to choose from beginner to intermediate levels of Skate Skiing, Classic Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing instruction. Check with Local ski shops as they will be offering discounted gear for the event. You will need to rent your gear prior to the event. This free event is designed to introduce and familiarize people to the sports of Skate Skiing, Classic Cross Country Skiing or Snowshoeing. All ages are encouraged to attend. Learn about Nordic skiing and some great techniques from some of Pagosa Springs best skiers and snowshoer's. Please sign up by clicking HERE!

FREE Ski Jouring Clinic March 14th at West Fork Trail Head from 10:30-12:30.  The clinic is presented by Good Dog Outfitters.  Check www.gooddogoutfitters.com for info!
Bring friendly dogs only, 2 short leashes and 2 harnesses. There will be some products for sale.
