- Parking
- Please do not block the entrance to trail or other vehicles.
- Park a normal distance from other vehicles. It might get busy. - Be respectful of other trail users
- Trails are shared with all ability levels.
- Snowshoers, snowmobiles or fat bikes may exist. - Yield the right of way to downhill traffic and the slower skier
- But don't count on it. - Call out when coming up behind other skiers - "On your left"
- Make them aware of your presence and intentions. - Do not stop where you obstruct a trail or are not visible to others
- Do not skate over the classic set tracks
- No walking or biking or snowshoeing on the trails groomed for cross country skiing only
- Utilize trails groomed specifically for these activities.
- If necessary, walk/ride on the edge of the groomed trail and not on the classic set tracks. - Garbage is your responsibility
- Pack it in, pack it out. - Friendly dogs only on trails designated as allowing dogs
- Dogs should be leashed or under voice control.
- When another skier approaches, for the safety of all, have unleashed dogs sit.
- All waste should be carried out. - Trails are not patrolled
- Assume your own risk.
- Don't assume your cell phone will work.
- Have a paper or offline picture of the trail map.
- Bring a friend.
- Bring layers, water, snacks and a headlamp.
- Tell someone where you're going and when you plan to return.
- If you see a fellow skier in need, take the time to stop and help.
