Southwest Nordic Race Series

Pagosa Nordic Club is participating in the Southwest Nordic Race Series - Six events in the Four Corners / San Juan Mountain region to crown the King and Queen of Nordic Skiing in the Southwest! The races are in Grand Mesa, Pagosa Springs, Chama, Flagstaff, Telluride and Durango.

Scoring System

Three of the six featured races are scored for each racer. Score is based on finishing position (1st place = 1 point, 2nd place = 2 points, etc.). Top three finishes are averaged. Lowest average score wins!

**RACE UPDATE!!!**

Due to lack of snow at the planned race location of Cloman Park, the PNC Cabin Fever Nordic Races have been moved to Alberta Park at the Wolf Creek Ski Area.

Big thank you to Wolf Creek Ski Area for allowing this race to happen and during a holiday week!

TIME/LOCATION

Alberta Park at Wolf Creek Ski Area.

Parking for the cross country skiing is at the end of the Tranquility Lot. Please tell parking attendants where you are headed and they will help direct you. Please note, the cross country area is accessed via a groomed ski run. Racers and spectators can walk down the side of this packed, low usage hill to the race area.

After race awards will be presented in the Tranquility parking lot.

8:30 AM: In person registration at the end of the Tranquility Lot parking area.

9:30 AM: Adult Races Begin - 16K Race immediately followed by the start of the 5K Race

10:45 AM: Kid K Race begins (Or when all adult races are done.)
